Extra Credit Semester 2

Each podcast summary is worth 5 points of extra credit. In order to get full credit you must listen to the podcast and write a 1 page paper (double spaced) answering the essential question.

Freakanomics: Ten ideas to make politics less rotten

Essential Question Podcast 1: What are Ten Ways to make politics less rotten in the US? 

Freakanomics: Has the US Presidency become a dictatorship? 

Essential Question Podcast 2: Is the American President becoming a dictatorship? 

Hidden Extra Credit: 

  • If you confront me at the start of the fear and conformity unit and ask for a password I will give you 15 points of extra credit with no questions asked. 

  • However, you must keep the password a SECRET no matter what

  • If I find out you shared the password you get zero points. 

  • Your WILL will be tested in the fires of the crucible

  • I may give hints to the class about you to see if you can keep the secret. 

  • If someone else gets the password from you they get the points and you get nothing. If a group of students gets the password from you, I will divide up the points amongst the group.
